About the job

About this role:

Help bring ambitious live entertainment experiences from first concept to opening night. As Producer, Live Entertainment, you’ll help develop and deliver shows that combine storytelling, live performance, drone choreography, visual media and practical effects.

Working closely with creative leadership, technical specialists and Show Operations, you’ll turn creative ideas into clear production plans and keep teams moving toward shared milestones. This is a hands-on role for an organized, resourceful producer who enjoys solving complex challenges, building relationships and balancing creative ambition with budgets, schedules and the practical demands of live entertainment.

As a Producer, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Drive production planning: Develop and maintain production roadmaps, budgets, schedules and decision deadlines; track progress and recommend solutions when scope, costs or timing change.
  • Connect teams and workstreams: Coordinate creative, technical and operational contributors, clarify responsibilities and manage dependencies so teams have the information they need to deliver.
  • Coordinate suppliers and vendors: Manage proposals, align scopes of work and track delivery commitments, partnering with Finance and Contracts on commercial terms and approvals.
  • Support intellectual property approvals: Coordinate submissions to IP partners, consolidate feedback and track written approvals, ensuring changes are reflected in production plans.
  • Prepare for testing and rehearsals: Organize technical tests, showcases and rehearsals with relevant leads, coordinating content readiness, vendor participation and follow-up actions.
  • Build touring requirements into development: Partner with Show Operations to address transport, installation, staffing and repeatability across venues.
  • Support safe, achievable delivery: Work with technical and operational leads to identify production risks, raise concerns early and incorporate agreed solutions into plans.
  • Enable a smooth handover: Coordinate the transition from development and opening into touring, ensuring teams receive approved assets, production documentation and operating information.

You’ll need to have:

  • 5+ years of experience in live entertainment production, with demonstrated responsibility for leading complex shows from development through rehearsals and opening, including ownership of budgets, schedules and vendor delivery.
  • Strong production planning skills, including managing budgets, schedules, suppliers and multiple workstreams.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and keep contributors aligned on priorities, responsibilities and deadlines.
  • Working knowledge of lighting, audio, video, scenery and special effects sufficient to collaborate with specialists and understand production implications.
  • Clear communication and negotiation skills, with sound judgment when balancing creative goals, costs and delivery requirements.
  • Availability to travel for development, testing, rehearsals and opening activities.

It’s a plus if you have:

  • Experience with touring productions, outdoor entertainment or shows delivered across multiple venues.
  • Experience working with licensed intellectual property, including partner submissions, feedback and approval processes.
  • Exposure to drone shows, immersive experiences or productions that integrate live performance with technology.
  • A proactive, collaborative approach, with the ability to bring structure to evolving projects and follow through on details.
  • A strong interest in storytelling and finding practical ways to bring ambitious creative ideas to life.
